A downloadable CSV template is built into the import screen, so you just fill in the columns and upload. It's one app, two experiences. Clients and admins both download the same Athlo app, but see completely different interfaces based on their role. Admins and coaches also get a full web-based admin panel accessible from any browser for desktop management.
Partially, today. Coaches get granular per-screen access control — you decide exactly which admin sections each coach can open. On the client side, you can enable or disable Shop and Community at the gym level from your admin settings. Deeper per-tab client controls (e.g. hiding Booking or Battle Zone) are on our roadmap and ship regularly — we update the app weekly.
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to export everything. You can export client records, workout history, subscription data, and order history as CSV at any time — before or after cancelling.
Door access is an optional hardware add-on, billed as a one-time €400 setup on top of any active plan (no monthly add to your subscription). Each client gets a QR / NFC credential in their app — your reader scans it and our API verifies the live subscription before unlocking the door. You can configure a grace period after expiry, restrict access to certain hours, and see the full entry log in your admin panel. Contact support@athloapp.eu to add it to your account.
Yes. Athlo is fully GDPR compliant. Data is hosted in the EU, communications are encrypted, clients can request data deletion at any time, and you have full data export capabilities. We are committed to protecting the privacy of you and your clients.
Athlo connects to your own payment account — money goes straight to you, never through us. Stripe is supported for auto-renewing subscriptions, and Viva Payments and Revolut are supported via hosted checkout for memberships, session packs and shop orders. Every payment is verified server-side before anything is activated, receipts are issued automatically, and Athlo takes 0% commission on your revenue — you only pay the flat monthly subscription. Cash and manual payments can be logged and approved as well.
Yes — and you bring the provider you prefer. For SMS, connect any provider with an HTTP API (BulkGate, Twilio, Vonage, MessageBird, Brevo and more) and send campaigns, win-back messages and expiry reminders under your gym's own sender name. For email, connect any provider over SMTP — Gmail / Google Workspace, Outlook 365, Yahoo, iCloud, Zoho or your own mail server — and Athlo auto-detects the server settings when you type your address. SendGrid is also supported. Invoice emails and reminders then go out automatically from your own address.
